Joe Pearson: Colo(u)red Background Concept Art (Unused) for “Crash Bandicoot”


Here’s another blast from the Crash past. This was a color painting of a key background that I drew for the first Crash game. (I did the original drawing, not the color). As the background never made it into the final game, it’s a pretty rare piece and the color key of it has never been made public to the best of my knowledge.

The background is centered around a crashed B-25 Bomber from WW2. I put it in there basically, because I really dug the design of that particular airplane although it was a b$#@h to draw in perspective. 🙂 I’ll post the original drawing below.
