The statue’s concept is inspired by the final battle between Crash™ and Dr. Neo Cortex in Crash Bandicoot™ 3: Warped. The base replicates the environment of the boss room, which is inside of the Time Twister Machine. And like in the game, the mad scientist also has his blaster pistol in one hand and a mine in the other, both of which are his weapons of choice against Crash™ in the third installment. Lastly, leaving behind a trail of smoke is his signature hoverboard, which Neo Cortex uses as well in the fight.

Mighty Ape (Australia): The Art of “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time” Artbook Preorder


At the Developer Showcase Summer Game Fest, we witnessed the reveal of “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time”, an all-new game for the first time in 12 years by Toys for Bob, and it has been recently revealed that just like with Spyro Reignited Trilogy, we’ll be getting an artbook published by Blizzard Entertainment. This Artbook contains 312 pages of artwork and concept arts that are possibly being revealed for the first time, to be released on October 26, 2020.

The Crash Bandicoot (TM) series has remained a beloved staple of platform gaming ever since the first game’s release in 1996. The Art of Crash Bandicoot (TM)4: It’s About Time (TM) is a rich repository overflowing with interviews, quotes, observations and anecdotes, accompanied by a treasure trove of concept art detailing the characters and environments of the game. Looks like we are getting brand-new merchandise from Exquisite Gaming for this year’s major release of “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time”, as revealed by this listing on Mighty Ape. This new Cable Guy device/controller holder features the new design from Crash 4 with the new skull base as seen in the Numskull Designs merchandise and the game. It also looks more simplistic and shaped thanks to the new design’s fur and angular features.
