Let’s speculate and look at: Rumoured Crash Bandicoot Cartoon Show

Next year is Crash Bandicoot’s 25th anniversary, and it seems like we are going to have a major year despite Crash 4 coming out just a few months ago, especially with the build up of the PvP game, rumoured Crash 4 ports, “Crash Bandicoot: On the Run” by King coming next year, and rumours of a new TV Show. Despite the silence, recent developments have given this rumour even more strength and credibility that we’ll be seeing it soon. Recap from last time: A new Crash Bandicoot cartoon project is rumoured to be in the works, based on hints by Bill Kopp and Jeff DeGrandis, as first seen being at the Activision HQ. There is no known production company or release date yet for it, but could be similar to Skylanders Academy with TeamTO at the helm.

This year has been really unexpected in well, a lot of ways, and certainly it came with the biggest release of them all, “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time” being out before the mobile game by King, “Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!”, which is slated for release on March 25, 2021. So, what else is also coming next year? Well, it’s actually the PvP game that was previously rumoured by The Gaming Revolution back in March, because there has been some recent developments regarding it, as well as some more sketchy aspects of this development that I wanna touch upon.
Recap from last time: The Crash PvP project, as it was last time rumoured, is a new game being released for consoles, PC and mobile in 2021. It was said that its development were in its early days, although that could change.

It seems that there are hints of what seems to be a new game teased in Crash Bandicoot 4 It’s About Time, Let’s Talk about it!

[UPDATE] Charles Zembillas answers some questions regarding his latest post about Crash’s new project

I’ll go down the list.

Q: When will we know?
A: I don’t know when.

Q: Is this real?
A: Yes. It is what it is and right now at this moment. It’s the very beginning of making it.

Q: Remastered, Twinsanity, Smashed…?
A: None of the above.

Status as of today is that everything seems to be a go. It’s been cleared to move forward. The very beginning of the process of making it. Money has been paid towards this direction.That is to start making it. Not sure who is funding it. Either Activision, their partner, or both.

Can’t say if the final contracts are signed as I don’t know. But it’s moving forward and the guy behind it is very excited. He’s been trying to get this going for many years.

The more I find out the more I’ll pass along. I’m not at liberty to divulge who the partner is and the nature of the project but it’s good.

I think the great success of Crash 4 is what’s making it happen. The project has been in the works for a long time. I had the feeling Crash 4 might make it happen. Looks like that may be the case.

Sometimes in this business projects get running and then for whatever reason don’t make it to the finish line. At this point it’s running. That’s what I’m been told. My source is rock solid. That’s where it is right now.

If it’s real then the parties behind it will make the announcement.

Charles Zembillas: Crash Bandicoot – Something new on the way

Hello Friends! Thought I’d share some recent developments with the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Got this from an excellent source. Been aware of the general progress for a while now. I’m told a deal is struck with Activision and another heavyweight and there’s a new Crash project in the works. I have nothing to do with what’s going on but I’m aware of the person behind it and he’s a talented veteran of many projects in entertainment.

When I get a green light on disclosing more info I will. Or you may hear about it in a press release beforehand. Either way you’ll like what’s up.
