Any rumor that includes a leak, this is a gray area that can be considered legitimate at times and illegitimate as well. As usual, take any rumor or leak with a grain of salt!
We’ve got a new tip from a Redditor on the Crash Bandicoot subreddit by the name of TifoASRoma, who just posted a thread about preordering Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and apparently being told by the cashier that they were “a live demo of it on the 19th and possibly the 20th of this month”. He says that he recalls Sony reps also being there but doesn’t 100% remember correctly, this will occur on April 19 and possibly even on April 20. Since this is very new information, this article is categorized as a “rumour” and please, take it with a grain of salt even if you do not hesitate to ask your local GameStop.
This is just an FYI.
So I was pre-ordering CTR today at my local gamestop, and the cashier mentioned that they were having a live demo of it on the 19th and possibly the 20th of this month. I think they mentioned something about sony reps being there but I don’t remember 100%. Either way, they are having a live demo of it on the 19th for sure, and possibly on the 20th.
So check out your local gamestop to see if they are doing something similar. I can’t imagine my local gamestop being so special tbh. Enjoy!
Nitro-Fueled has a steady frame rate of 30 frames per second on the original PlayStation 4 hardware, but those of you with an Xbox One X and/or PlayStation 4 Pro will be able to enjoy the game at a solid 60 frames per second when all is said and done. These will no doubt be the superior versions of Nitro-Fueled, though there’s nothing wrong with taking the game on the portable front with the Switch, if you can step away from Mario Kart 8 long enough.

The spirit of what made Crash Team Racing fun and unique remains here. Beenox was painstakingly clear that they are looking to make Nitro-Fueled the epitome of the franchise. That means adding tracks, battle modes, and kart customization introduced not only in the original but also its sequel, Crash Nitro Kart. In fact, there will be 31 tracks at launch made up of courses from the previous games and even new ones based on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

A Coco fan account on Instagram posted a video of Tawna a while ago, trying to catch Beenox’s attention to see she’s being heavily requested for “CTR: Nitro-Fueled,” and two days ago they actually responded with a teasing reply!
Tawna seems to be a shoe-in for the game, but the real question now is when will she be revealed? PAX East, perhaps? We’ll have to see, but until then, hope you enjoy the video and get hyped!

If Jordan Fringe is to be believed, and seeing how Crystal Fissure has just recently shown off himself attending the HQ of Activision Blizzard in Australia is anything to go by, then we are about to get some major content dropping on Monday, which is the first set of gameplay footage for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.
