A mysterious mask has been spotted in the video, does that hint at a new character for a new game? Or something else?

We’ve got a new PlayStation 4 ad with a nice look at some CGI renditions of characters and franchises from various games interacting with real people, and Crash is among them! He’s racing with Coco, Cortex, and Aku Aku, but they seem to have a mysterious second mask following them around too, and it looks nothing like any other mask we’ve ever seen in the Crash franchise before! [QUESTIONNAIRE] What in the world do you think this mysterious “mask” floating behind Coco Bandicoot in the new PlayStation TV commercial is?
So, here’s my question to you (instead of just simply adding my speculation to this, also this is an info-dump post):
Earlier today, we’ve witnessed the release of a new TV commercial from Sony for PlayStation that showcased many franchises, such as God of War, Fortnite, FIFA, Final Fantasy 7, and Crash Bandicoot characters with Crash (with Aku Aku), Cortex and Coco (with this new mysterious floating “lunar” mask) racing in the parking lot. I have personally speculated some things about it over at Twitter, in which you can read below (and yes, Nicholas is teasing us about it):

[RUMOUR] PapaGenos: “No Crash Bandicoot, No Hayabusa, says Sabi’s Source”
The Leaker Sabi has a source who is claiming that the 5th DLC character for the Super Smash Bros Ultimate fighters pass is likely not Ryu Hayabusa or Crash Bandicoot. Also the recent Reimu Smash Leak about Touhou music seems far less likely as the the leaker claiming that has lost a lot of credibility.

Someone who correctly leaked several Mii Costumes coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate claims their source is now leaking Crash Bandicoot as the 5th fighters pass DLC character!!!
