Feels like 2021 just got started and here we are already looking back at January’s top downloads across PlayStation Store. Those four weeks flew by largely thanks to an amazing lineup of games to keep us busy!

Black Ops Cold War made a strong showing all through the charts, with FIFA 21 taking the top PS5 spot in Europe. Even with a late January release date, Hitman III infiltrated the list at second place in both regions – well done, Agent 47.

Activision Q4 2020 Conference Call: King’s “Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!” confirmed for March 2021, Call of Duty & game revenue, etc.


Earlier today, in Q4 2020 earnings conference call, Activision has stated in their own segment results the following bullet points that are related to Crash Bandicoot as of this quarter:

It is important to note that this quarter ended on December 31, 2020.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has not been mentioned in the conference call, although it is safe to assume that the title has performed alright.

[LINKED] IGN: ‘Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!’ Has Over 100 Skins, but No Loot Boxes


Crash and Coco will have tons of outfits, but you won’t need to buy any loot boxes to get them.

Crash Bandicoot is coming to mobile devices later this year with King’s Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! During a hands-off preview event hosted by Apple, developer King shared more details about the surprisingly robust mobile game, including how it will feature hundreds of skins, but no loot boxes at all.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! Brings together Crash-style platforming with an auto-runner. Jump and spin your way past familiar levels and boss fights while Crash automatically runs through a given level.

Taking a page from Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, On the Run! Will feature over a hundred different skins for Crash and Coco.
