The August prototype build of Crash Team Racing doesn’t play any character voice clips during the races. Digging through the files, I discovered that, in fact, there are many unused audios, however, they are either recycled clips from Crash 3 or voice samples from Gavin James narrating the basic actions of each character in a deadpan tone. In this video I’ll show you all placeholder clips found on this beta version + an unused early version of the startup jingle.
