Earlier last October, Spyro Universe revealed (and retweeted by Roy’s Toys) that the company would be introducing its own new collection of sport socks for both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon in different colours and illustrations. For this post, we’ll be focusing solely on the Crash Bandicoot collection, in which you can buy right now from the website. Early Access has been recently opened up to those interested and you can purchase them right now individually or as a set of three pairs, and it should arrive shortly if you live in the UK, but will take a while outside. It should be noted that outside of the UK will have to pay a hefty ÂŁ20 GBP ($25.70 USD/€23.34 EUR) shipping price fee in order to obtain said pair of socks.
Also, despite these socks not having any new renders or illustrations being used, it is nice to know that the company proclaims to have high-quality socks, according to their about page. And it is also nice to see that the socks do look nice given how minimal they look, each costing ÂŁ6 GBP ($7.71 USD/€7 EUR) and total cost being ÂŁ15 GBP ($19.28 USD/€17.51 EUR). Here’s a brief summary in bullet-points of what each pair looks and features:
- The black one features a red accent with two stripes on the top, with 4 visible Aku Aku illustration figures floating on the upper side
- The white one features a yellow accent, with Crash’s head illustration being repeated 5 times on the upper side
- The grey one features two black accent stripes alongside Screaming Crash render illustration with the logo floating on top of his head, this is all happening on the upper side
All in all, these should be a decent choice for those living in the UK, you can find the links to purchase the collection and the pair of socks individually below:
