Note: This article is one of two parts where rumours of two upcoming projects are discussed and speculated about. In addition, everything you see here should be taken with a grain of salt, regardless of its legitimacy or obviousness, as well as wearing your tinfoil hat before proceeding.

This year has been really unexpected in well, a lot of ways, and certainly it came with the biggest release of them all, “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time” being out before the mobile game by King, “Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!”, which is slated for release on March 25, 2021. So, what else is also coming next year? Well, it’s actually the PvP game that was previously rumoured by The Gaming Revolution back in March, because there has been some recent developments regarding it, as well as some more sketchy aspects of this development that I wanna touch upon.
Recap from last time: The Crash PvP project, as it was last time rumoured, is a new game being released for consoles, PC and mobile in 2021. It was said that its development were in its early days, although that could change.

So, let’s get started:

Crash 4’s own hints and curiosities:

At first sight, this video, released just days after the Wumpa yin-yang logo present after completing the game at 106% and spinning the TV consecutively flashes it briefly, was released on social media to commence a tribute to Uncharted 4 with Coco trying to do the Clock Bell level and Crash reacting with her. It seems like a cute and nice video to release, until you start to see clues showing up at some parts. Here’s what you need to know (based on speculation of some fans):

4chan’s sketchy but intriguing “leak”:

Usually, we do not report on 4chan posts as 99 percent of the time, they end up being fake. But let’s make the assumption for these two posts specifically, that there’s a hint of truth, a very small one. It’s mainly the logo and name.

Conclusion:

Well, it seems to me that there’s a decent amount of evidence coming from the official sources alone, although the more sketchy sources do help assist in this speculative look at Crash PvP. Again, my verdict at the time being is to remain skeptical and be on the lookout.
