Next year is Crash Bandicoot’s 25th anniversary, and it seems like we are going to have a major year despite Crash 4 coming out just a few months ago, especially with the build up of the PvP game, rumoured Crash 4 ports, “Crash Bandicoot: On the Run” by King coming next year, and rumours of a new TV Show. Despite the silence, recent developments have given this rumour even more strength and credibility that we’ll be seeing it soon. If you’re not caught up, head out to this link to learn more about the previous post.
Recap from last time: A new Crash Bandicoot cartoon project is rumoured to be in the works, based on hints by Bill Kopp and Jeff DeGrandis, as first seen being at the Activision HQ. There is no known production company or release date yet for it, but could be similar to Skylanders Academy with TeamTO at the helm.
So, let’s get started:
New developments:

Recently, some new developments have occurred that give more credibility of this project’s existence, on top of Bill Kopp’s constant hints throughout December 2019/Early 2020. Let’s break down what is in store for us:
- Bill Kopp recently liked a comment by a fan named “Punk Maniac” on Instagram (via Twitter) asking about having a Crash TV Show to be made.
- And he also tagged this post with the hashtag #crashbandicoot… (Thanks for the tip, Pat!)
- Charles Zembillas made a recent post hinting that the show has been recently green lit with Activision and “another heavyweight” involved, and cites “Crash 4’s success” as the reason.
- Kopp also hinted at a recent Talking Simpsons Podcast interview by Bob Mackey and Henry Gilbert on Thursday, alluding that he’s been working on this show at the 36 minutes mark, and cites that it’s “pretty big”, with a “little of familiarity” with the characters. He said that we should be expecting it in a “few weeks”.
- Kyle A. Carrozza drew this “fan art” around February, potentially hinting at the show that early as well. (Thanks again, Pat!)
Conclusion:
Well, it seems to me that there’s a decent amount of evidence coming from the sources provided in this speculative look at the Crash cartoon project. Again, my verdict at the time being is to keep a pinch of salt with you and anticipate the potential announcement soon.

IF crash gets a show, (big IF), then I’ll expect a Spyro the dragon show. I love the remaster of the trilogy. I also heard a rumor that after crash got a fourth game, a fourth Spyro game would be in development. I sure hope that rumor is true and that it come out on the PS4. thanks to the new consoles that came out, I doubt it will come out on PS4

Hopefully there would be a new show in the coming years, because the one that was intended to come out this year, was cancelled. And Spyro 4 as a rumour seems likely to be true given the history of whoever leaked it (The Gaming Revolution) and the fact that it was hinted at the Crash 4 artbook.
