N-Gamz: Xbox Series X Features and test, ft. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (Quick Resume, Game Pass, Store, 4K)

Xbox Series X: My test of the new generation console from Microsoft which will be sold on November 10 at a price of 499.99 €. On the menu: presentation of the interface, settings, groups and menus but also the new Xbox Store, Game Pass and above all the revolutionary Quick Resume function through three games for which I also offer optimized 4K gameplay: Gears 5, Crash Bandicoot 4 and Quantum Break!

Conclusion: With its much faster and completely customizable interface, its revolutionary Quick Resume function, its Auto HDR for games that did not benefit from it or its Game Pass packed with hits, the Xbox Series X is undoubtedly an excellent Next console- Gen which lacks only real news excluded First Party like Halo Infinite, and possibly a less “raw” design. In the meantime, the machine really magnifies your old software through end-to-end backward compatibility and promises us heavy on the thirty or so titles optimized by Microsoft and third-party publishers at launch. Add to that the fact that the beast is terribly quiet and offers no less than 12 teraflops of graphics power for less than $ 500 and you will understand that we are truly excited for the future of this Xbox Series X which brings Microsoft in. in the Next-Gen!

The positives: The Quick Resume / A completely customizable interface / Reduced loads / Gears 5 is superb / The Game Pass well highlighted / The Xbox Store overhaul / A much faster interface / Auto HDR

Cons: Unable to record more than 30 seconds of gameplay in 4K / No real First Party excluded at launch / The absence of Halo Infinite

Note: 18/20
