Happy Birthday, Crash Bandicoot! (24 Years Anniversary – North America)

It’s only been several months since the last Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was released and only just recently did Beenox confirm the end of said updates, and with the advent of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, it is only fitting that Crash would not only finally a brand-new adventure for the first time in 12 years, but bring in new elements as well to spice things up along the way. It was only like yesterday when we were talking about the leaks from last year.

Not to mention, next-generation consoles are on the way (PS5, Xbox Series X/S) with both being backwards compatible with current-generation consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One, meaning that this new game might be the last major foray for those systems and move on to the upcoming next-gen systems, with Spyro the Dragon following up next year. According to the Eastern Standard Timezone, today’s indeed the 24th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot of the first ever debut original game, Crash Bandicoot for the PS1, which was released on September 9, 1996. Spyro The Dragon’s 21st anniversary is this week as well (September 10, 1998)!

The original Crash Bandicoot on the PS1 received an average of 80.40% on GameRankings, and was an instant success back in the 90s.

We might post the top fandom creations in a few condensed posts. Stay tuned for any news that might arise, we might miss it, so tip us ASAP.
