Earlier today, in Q4 2019 earnings conference call, Activision has stated in their own segment results the following bullet points that are related to Crash Bandicoot as of this quarter, among other things in their own portfolio of IPs:
- Among Activision’s own recently awarded games, they mention the fact that “Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled” won several Best Sports/Racing Game award(s) during the quarter.
- Confirmed that King Mobile will be “investing in several promising new titles, including content based on Activision’s beloved catalog IP. Regional testing of some of these titles will begin in 2020“.
- They also confirmed that they will be not just releasing Call of Duty, but also several new “remasters/reimagined” titles throughout the year, this doesn’t necessarily mean that this will be for Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon. It could be for Tony Hawk or other IPs from the publisher, we’ll see.
