Woooooooow. I mean, wow. I think I’m more offended by way the Game Awards 2019 was paced and presented than some announcements and awards. Well, we got good and bad news out of this, let’s cut to the chase:
This show felt like a drag, it was like leading up to something in the beginning but then went haywire afterwards. We were all expecting a Crash Bandicoot announcement at 10pm EST, right? Well, that didn’t happen. But, on the bright side, we got several things to note out of this:
- Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled won the award of Best Sports/Racing game!
- Crash Team Racing and Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back made their appearances during Green Day’s performance on stage.
- We’re going to have more waiting to see when the new game will be revealed, its not out of the question yet.
I’m also sorry for getting people hyped about this, I was genuine excited about it, and even was confident about my expectation in at seeing it being announced, after some interesting came up during the last several months. As WumpaGem put it in his newest tweet, we’re likely going to wait about 3-5 months for it to potentially be revealed, be patient.
