It’s been around more than two months since Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was released again to the masses on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It’s still doing decently with the ongoing “Spyro & Friends” Grand Prix this month, even though the buzz has gone down somewhat in anticipation for the future of both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon next year, amid some interesting revelations about a mysterious unseen set of concept art from Toys for Bob.
Not to mention, next-generation means of playing like the PS5, Xbox Scarlett and newcomers like Google Stadia are setting the stage for what’s next, we could see both franchises come on both current and next-gen platforms. According to the Eastern Standard Timezone, today’s indeed the 23rd anniversary of Crash Bandicoot of the first ever debut original game, Crash Bandicoot for the PS1, which was released on September 9, 1996. Spyro The Dragon’s 21st anniversary is this week as well (September 10, 1998), as a shout-out to our fellow pals there, congratulations on the Nintendo Switch and Steam (PC) release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy on September 3, 2019!
