This is a not the Skylanders Academy kind of “Quickies”, since it mainly just focuses on a list of all Age Rating boards around the world that has age rated the game.
Let’s go over what each one, shall we?
- North America: ESRB E10+ for ages 10 and up by Entertainment Software Rating Board
- Description: Features Cartoon Violence and Comic Mischief. This is a kart racing game in which players control characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe in races around whimsical tracks. As players collect items (e.g., fruit, crystals, keys), they can use power-ups to speed past or slow down opponents. Cartoony bombs, missiles, and TNT boxes can be used against opponents; racers are sometimes seen flailing around while on fire. One boss character is depicted shooting a machine gun into the air and around Crash’s vehicle. In one sequence, a character can be seen picking his nose and eating the booger; in another scene, seagull droppings appear on top of rocks.
- Europe: PEGI 3 for ages 3 and up by Pan European Game Information
- Description: This game has received a PEGI 3 because it features occasional, very mild violence in a comical or abstract context. The content of this game is suitable for all persons.
- Germany: USK 6 for ages 6 and up by Entertainment Software Self-Regulation
- Description: Approved from 6 years according to § 14 JuSchG.
- Australia/New Zealand: G for General by Australian Classification Board (ACB)
- Description: Features very mild themes and violence.
- Brazil: ClassInd L for General by Brazilian advisory rating system
- Description: Features fantasy violence with cartoony weapons.
- South Africa: FPB “10-12” PG V for Parental Guidance by South African Film and Publication Board – via Raru
- Description: The reason for the age rating is that it features potentially some physical and psychological violent scenes, hence why parental guidance is advised.
- Japan: CERO A for All Ages for Computer Entertainment Rating Organization (Not listed but confirmed via Rakuten)
- Description: Expressions and content subjected to age-specific limitation are not included in the game, thereby being suitable for all ages.
- Taiwan: 0+ G for General Public by Game Software Rating Regulations/Digital Game Rating Committee
- South Korea: Suitable for All to play by Game Rating And Administration Committee (Not listed, going by N. Sane)
- Saudi Arabia: Suitable for Ages 7 and up by General Authority for Audiovisual Media – via Souq
