Looks like the official website for Crash Bandicoot got updated with a new section for Championship/Nitro Leaderboards featured in the “Grand Prix” section of the game and website.
The new section is laid out similarly to the leaderboards’ setup in the game, with two categories for each platform (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch), which explains the features that come with the Grand Prix, starting with the Championship Leaderboards. This one focuses on the players aiming to win the championship for the Grand Prix and the Nitro Leaderboards being the rest of the players currently online who will be playing the game’s Grand Prix Nitro gouge by completing a set of challenges, unlocking new items and character(s) in the process.
BandicootWorld, the person who tipped us about this development, notes that “time trials and relic race leaderboards are not present” at the moment and it is only a matter of time if that will be present in the near future.
