Here’s your first new look at Classic Crash Skin, N. Sanity Beach and more for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

Looks like we just got our first look at a couple of new things revealed. Let’s outline them in bullet points:

  • Retro/Classic Crash Bandicoot Skin, after seeing the one in N. Sane Trilogy via the Vicarious Visions remastering machine logo intro and the easter egg inclusion in Spyro Reignited Trilogy by Toys for Bob, it’s no surprise that we’re getting the option to change Crash’s appearance to resemble more of the original style in all of his low-poly glory
  • Character icons have been changed due to fan feedback, personally speaking, they do look much better here
  • There’s several options the player is presented with for the characters and karts: Character, Karts, Kart Sets, and Randomize. Also, the background is now integrated with a waving checker board flag to resemble the iconic one in the original Crash Team Racing, thanks to feedback from fans
    • It also includes the fact that multiple players get different colours and not just Blue and Red (in this picture, Blue, Red and Green)
    • We already knew that karts can be customized and recoloured based on personal preference (cosmetic)
  • Character stats are balanced, even categorized based on difficulty with their corresponding stats (like in the original game, they can now be also minimized)
    • I assume these are the names based on the picture above: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert
  • Unlockable characters that can be played in this new demo are: Komodo Joe, Pinstripe, Fake Crash and Nitros Oxide (N. Oxide)
  • We can see the circle temple from N. Sanity Beach’s Hub World (?), obstructed by Crash with a Sapphire Relic.
    •  Some people tipped that it seems to be a loading screen, akin to the ones in Crash Nitro Kart

That’s all for now. If there’s anything missing, then it will be added by request.
