[POLL] Reissue: What style of gameplay do you want for Crash Bandicoot?


In light of what could finally be the debut of Crash Bandicoot’s first new adventure in a long time, after Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled gets released, it is time to ask the question that was asked on this blog several years ago (with minor changes) again.

  1. I think Crash needs to evolve. Wide Linear like Spyro would be a great step for Crash. Open Platforming is the ultimate dream but there are many factors that could go wrong such as the developers not having enough experience of a project of that scale and if Activision would allow enough development time.

  2. I’d rather have well designed obstacle courses with precise platforming over open worlds. The latter gas been done to death and collectable hunting in open worlds gets dull quickly.
