PlayStation UK Access: Crash Team Racing Livestream on Saturday @ EGX 2018 & Vicarious Visions’s “Exciting new project”

At this point, we all know it’s going to happen, whether some people like it or not. However, although it is unlikely to have a CTR Remake revealed on a day like this, it’s still interesting to Livestream a game from 1999 in the middle of upcoming and newly released games at a major expo event, namely EGX 2018.

That’s what PlayStation Access, an official entity of PlayStation UK, is going to be doing on Saturday, as part of a 4-day live streaming #EGXPlayStation stage showcase from Thursday, September 20, 2018, to Sunday, September 23, 2018, with a slew of other video games to talk about it live. The EGX Livestream for CTR will commence at 12PM BST (or 7AM EST), with the description being the following:

Take on Rob at this karting classic!

He reckons he’s unbeatable – can you prove him wrong?

Also, JumpButton has just discovered that Vicarious Visions posted openings that involve multiplayer netcode engineers and server engineers, which involves coding and optimizing the online multiplayer component of a video game. These openings are to prepare them for an “Exciting new project”. JB says that he’s “not saying it means anything” but you never know what could end up happening…

We can’t wait to see more and more of this unfold in the coming months, stay tuned.
