Brothers Make: DIY Aku Aku from Crash Bandicoot

We’ve been loving playing the remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy recently and it inspired us to build our own little Aku Aku sidekick! We made this from scrap pine that we lightly scorched and added an oak stain to darken. We cut all of the features from 5mm MDF and 1mm plywood and once they were shaped we spray painted them in the same colours as the mask from the video game.
