This is an on-going post of the things that you should note when picking up the Xbox One version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy this Friday, it will be constantly updated when necessary with all you need to know. Sources will be added as time goes on as well, since not all of the things that will be listed are confirmed.
You can also check out some other changes via BetaM’s Pastebin changelog.
- This port supports native 4K on Xbox One X and is enhanced for it, HDR and 1080p on Xbox One and Xbox One S. All run at 30fps.
- Vicarious Visions is responsible for this port of the game.
- The overall package sizes at just 18.91GB.
- It seems like enhancements also extend to the total size of the overall package, with how smaller the other ports are.
- No additional download is required and all fixes that Vicarious Visions has done and DLCs will be included on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 reprints.
- Several technical changes have been implemented while porting the game.
- All platforms, including the PS4 via a patch and reprints, will let you skip the Activision/Vicarious Visions logo.
- The Xbox One port features the Spyro trailer via a simple button press and possibly also via the easter egg demo button combination.
- Only the PlayStation 4 version features Naughty Dog and Sony related easter eggs, all other versions have this ommitted due to possible corporate policy and intellectual property litigations from Sony.
