Listen up, for those of you in the United Kingdom (England), there will be a special event happening in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra featuring music from several video game franchises, from the Original PlayStation all the way to the PlayStation 4, from Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, MediEvil, God of War and even Horizon Zero Dawn in a special Orchestra programme. Here’s more info about the event:
Presenting the show will be Jessica Curry, one of the leading figures in computer game music today, as well as being the BAFTA award-winning composer of the soundtrack to Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Jessica has also presented High Score on Classic FM, the UK’s most popular classical music station. High Score was the first series on British radio dedicated to video game music.
The concert will also feature the first use of EnCue at the Royal Albert Hall – a real-time programme note app that delivers media and content to concertgoers’ smartphones as the music unfolds from the stage.
Event will be held on: Wednesday May 30 2018 @ 7:30PM GMT +1
