Recently, Association of Italian Video Game Developers Publishers has revealed the results of 2017’s bestsellers and performance overall in Italy via a Press Release and a Report accompanied going in detail about the year 2017 in Video Games. The featured image is the main 4 charts of the top-performing 2017 games, mostly dominated by FIFA, Call of Duty and many other shooters/football franchises.
Crash Bandicoot’s relevance in these charts is that he was the 3rd bestselling game in the consoles category, 5th bestselling game in the downloads category alone just for the PlayStation 4 release, making it one of the bestselling console exclusive releases of 2017, which is impressive for a franchise that has not received a major release since 2008 (Mind Over Mutant).
