You may recall the amount of videos that started popping up regarding Crash Bandicoot being in Smash after the Multiplatform announcement on March 9, wondering if this is in any way substantial or solid to justify excitement for this.
Well…
During the Activision Crash Bandicoot livestream (Article), in the middle of people demanding Spyro and MW2, Kelly was able to answer some Twitter questions regarding Crash Bandicoot and the one that was intriguing to most fans, after having the bandicoot come by the Nintendo Switch on March 9, was the likelihood in Super Smash Bros.
Kelly has mentioned that it is “way out of our control” but later added that it “would be awesome” to have Crash Bandicoot to be in there. This bit of information is the closest thing we’ve ever gotten for a direct response regarding the likelihood of Crash Bandicoot’s likelihood in Super Smash Bros, a game that’s wildly hyped and long-awaited for its upcoming Switch release (5th installment?). To be frank, there’s a lot of things that we may not know about the requirements needed for the character to get into the game’s roster and approved by Nintendo and other parties.
