It’s finally the day that we get to play a demo of a brand new 2D fangame for Crash Bandicoot by the people who created Sonic Boom and The Smash Crew (Metalli and Tyrzi). We’ve talked about Crash Bandicoot N. Tense Adventure a few times on the blog and well, we’ve been very impressed by the effort put into the animations, mechanics, fluidity and overall presentation. Now, with SAGE 2017 being live as of today, you can now get your hands on the demo and try it out for yourself. Here’s a brief description of the game as well from the forum post at SFGHQ:
Crash N. Tense Adventure, a 2D Crash Bandicoot fangame, inspired by the original Playstation 1 Crash games. Exactly what you’d expect from a Crash game, single player classic platforming, collecting crates, wumpas and crystals, avoiding or attacking enemies with a spin move (not the Sonic variant), and then trying to beat your time in time trials.
